Happy Day Lodge is located on Windermere Lake, which is one of the best fishing lakes in the Chapleau area. Walleye fishing is excellent for both high numbers and trophy size. There are also lots of Smallmouth Bass ranging from small to large trophies off all the rock points. The lake is just swarming with Walleye and Smallmouth bass. What makes Windermere Lake unique and a top lake is the monster Northern Pike and massive Lake Trout. Both Northern Pike and Lake Trout over 20 pounds are caught on a regular basis with 25-pound and even 30-pound pike and trout caught throughout the summer. Paquette's Camp is located on Wagoon Lake, which is about 25 miles into the bush from the town of Chapleau Ontario.
