Manitou Weather Station Fishing Lodge is very unique as they have combined luxurious accommodations with the remote adventure of a fly-in. You can also boat to their lodge but it's a trip. They are located on Lower Manitou Lake, which is stuffed with Lake Trout. Not only can you catch tons of Lake Trout, they have guests catching big 20-pounders. Some guests have caught their limit right off the dock. Lower Manitou Lake is also stuffed with monster size Muskie. They also have excellent fishing for Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass. This is a really awesome place to go fishing. Their web site tells it all. You can also boat to their lodge if you want to use your own boat. There are no towns anywhere near them. Birch Dale Lodge is located on Eagle Lake and between Dryden & Vermilion Bay and just south of Waldhof, Ontario. The lake is stuffed with Giant Lake Trout as well as good eating size Lakers. The lake is famous for monster size Northern Pike and Muskie. There are tons of Pike over 20 pounds caught with a few over 25 pounds each year.
