Little Moose Lodge is located on the Clearwater - Pipestone chain of Lakes. This area is well known for having outstanding fishing for Walleye, Muskie, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Lake Trout. Guest have caught Walleyes as big as 12 pounds with lots of good eaters available, Muskie over 50-inches get caught and released all summer, lots of 20-pound Pike get caught each year, Smallmouth Bass up to the 5-pound mark are common and Lake Trout grow to be giants as each year a few over 30 pounds get caught and released. Manitou Weather Station Fishing Lodge is very unique as they have combined luxurious accommodations with the remote adventure of a fly-in. You can also boat to their lodge but it's a trip. They are located on Lower Manitou Lake, which is stuffed with Lake Trout. Not only can you catch tons of Lake Trout, they have guests catching big 20-pounders. Some guests have caught their limit right off the dock. Lower Manitou Lake is also stuffed with monster size Muskie. They also have excellent fishing for Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass.
